Meet the Doobies

I was inspired to create the Doobie Universe ™ Oracle Deck for my love of Doobies and of the beauty and healing benefits of nature. The Doobies help to remind us that if we take care of Mother Earth, she takes care of us. They share my philosophy and that of Socrates:

“Let food be thy medicine.”

I believe that our biography does affect our biology, and that joy, laughter, and cuteness heal.

In cuteness, the Doobies teach and help us to know AND remember the healing power of nature. They intend to uplift us emotionally, physically, and spiritually. They are guardians and representatives of the items atop their heads. We call them "toppers." They help us visualize and connect with the ways in which we can benefit from plants.

And because they are so cute and colorful, they help us absorb the information and remember it more easily.
The Doobies are emissaries of love and light. They bring me complete joy whenever I draw or commune with them.

The Doobie Universe ™ is my legacy. I have been sharing the benefits of living a life that is CLEAN, CLEAR, and BRIGHT for the past 15 years. This includes cleansing the body by eliminating toxins and adding in nutrient dense food, removing offending foods from our diets and adding healthy flora. The Doobies represent the healthy flora.

the doobie universe™ includes a list of characters that is as long as there are fruits, flowers, veggies, nuts, seeds, mushrooms, herbs, weeds, and house plants. Choosing 80 should have been hard, but thankfully, those who wanted to be included stepped up front and center in my psyche and on my page. From Pineapple who brings us abundance, to Arti who protects, we have in our hands the first Doobies to ever enter into our reality. And now they will let us dive into theirs!

My wish is to let them share messages and bring us closer to our beloved Mother Earth, reminding us how much we can benefit from her gifts, and thereby inspiring us to take better care of her.

I was inspired to create this deck as a coming out party for the doobie universe™. I drew my first Doobie in 1998. My mother was so enamored with them she put all the originals and copies she had made into a file box for safekeeping. 25 years later, with her guiding me with love from above, they are being sprinkled out into the world for the first time ever. This oracle deck is their first official outing. They requested that their debut be in the form of a deck that everyone can enjoy.

There are many ways the doobie universe™ will spread around the globe. But this is the very first place they wanted to play and share their gifts and wisdom with us. We are so very excited.

the doobie universe™ Oracle Deck is for anyone who wants to engage with their inner child, their own hearts, and messages from their guides, Spirit, the Divine. It is for children, too! It is for naturalists and those who need to be reminded that the healing properties of nature can be our first go-to when something is ailing us.

I feel that there are two kinds of people. Those who light up with twinkling eyes when seeing and communing with the Doobies, and those who don't. If I don't see someone's eyes sparkle with joy and creative inspiration upon seeing them, I wonder how in touch they are with their own heart and inner child.
